For kids and beginners, Austria’s 1st Children’s Ski Area together with the award-winning Magic Snow ski school provides the ideal setting for those ready to hit the slopes for the very first time. Ambitious skiers can look forward to 32 kilometers of variety-packed pistes, four valley runs, and a spacious freeride area – perfect for every member of the family. It’s no coincidence that our motto is: “More skiing – fewer lift rides.”

When it comes to sustainability, the Riesneralm also raises the bar: it was the first ski resort in Austria to operate its own snowmaking power plant producing electricity along with the snow. This innovative solution covers the resort’s entire energy needs and earned the Gold Trophy for Sustainable Energy Management.

For even more family comfort, a spacious, publicly accessible lounge awaits you at the Tellerblitz, featuring WCs, snack machines, and a cozy quiet room for moms with small children, complete with diaper-changing facilities. In other words, everything you need for a carefree day of skiing!
