The Planneralm has made significant investments in the quality of its ski area. At high alpine elevations, winter visitors can now count on ideal snow conditions from early December on.

The new, innovative snowmaking system provides an early, essential base layer to complement the traditional natural snow. The children’s area has also been completely redesigned and substantially enlarged.

Grippy slopes and the deep-snow opportunities around Styria’s highest ski village have been loved by kids, beginners, seniors, and leisure skiers for more than 100 years. At 1,600 to 2,200 meters above sea level, the snow remains especially crystalline until well into springtime.

The Easter holidays are traditionally the grand finale of a long season, with plenty of snow still on the ground and extended hours of sunshine.

Those who want to refresh their existing skills – or learn new ones on skis or a snowboard – will find highly qualified instructors at the local Ski & Freeride School.
